Understanding Puncture Connectors

Puncture connectors are essential components used to connect 1/4" tubing to 1/2" supply tubing. This connection allows you to add emitters, creating a more versatile irrigation system.

Installing the Connector

To install a puncture connector:

  1. Grasp the 1/2" tubing firmly in one hand.
  2. Press the sharp end of the puncture connector through the tubing.
  3. While tools are available to assist with this process, they're often unnecessary for most installations.

Once the puncture connector is in place:

  1. Take your 1/4" tubing.
  2. Attach it to the exposed end of the puncture connector.
